		<description>Interesting - the 1 &#124; 2 indication could indeed be for &#039;clone&#039; mode... but yes the black output was puzzling... could have been something to do with the HP laptop that it was running on with integrated Intel graphics...</description>

		<description>I thought that the &quot;1&#124;2&quot; was shown when the screen was cloned, hence it would be perfectly normal for it show up in this scenario.
The fact that it was just black on the external connector does sound like a bug though. :)
